Artistic Practice Overview
Ananda Rose is a rapper, singer, producer, poet, and workshop facilitator whose work explores the intersection of Hip Hop, Yogic Philosophy, Storytelling, and Creative Wellness. Her performances blend New York style Hip Hop with spiritual reflection and lyrical play, drawing from yogic traditions, Neo Soul, folk and her Black Studies BA. Ananda uses music as a tool for transformation, confidence-building, and community empowerment.

Facilitated and participated in local events across the Tampa Bay Area, creating opportunities for other artists, with a specific focus on artists from Diverse backgrounds and beginners. Taught weekly Good Vibes Yoga: A fusion style flow incorporating Asana, Breathwork, Dance, Qi Gong & Meditation. Hosted Conscious Clothing Optional Yoga events for practicing Nudists and people wanting to overcome body shame. Volunteered at the Coffee/Kava bar & Door for events. Taught an Irish Dance class for a sober St. Patrick’s Day Celebration.

Taught a Cardio Drumming Class 3 days a week. Taught basic Ball Room and Latin dances like the Cha Cha, Swing, Merengue & Bachata. Facilitated Poetry Workshops, Freestyle Sessions, Karaoke afternoons and helped participants with interview preparation and video recording.
